Located on the chalky clay soils of the Côte de Nuits, the vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin offer optimal conditions for producing wines with depth, structure and refinement.

The wine shows a deep ruby red colour and opens with a complex bouquet of blackcurrants, cherries, violets and a hint of truffle. As the wine opens up, subtle notes of spices, roasted coffee and earthy minerality emerge. On the palette, the Gevrey-Chambertin offers an impressive balance of ripe tannins, lively acidity and a silky texture. The long, elegant finish is characterised by notes of cedar, graphite and a hint of dark chocolate.

The Château de Charodon Gevrey-Chambertin 2022 has matured for 14 months in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new. This ageing adds depth, complexity and a refined spiciness, while fully preserving the expression of the terroir.

This wine is a perfect companion to refined dishes such as venison fillet with a blackcurrant sauce, roast quail or a risotto with wild mushrooms and Parmesan cheese. The Château de Charodon Gevrey-Chambertin 2022 reflects the craftsmanship and passion of this historic winery and offers an unforgettable Burgundian wine experience.

[79
171
0":"post-1685","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-rode-wijnen","7":"product_tag-chateau-de-charodon","8":"pa_regio-bourgogne","9":"pa_wijnhuis-chateau-de-charodon","10":"desktop-align-center","11":"tablet-align-left","12":"mobile-align-center","13":"ast-product-gallery-layout-horizontal-slider","14":"ast-product-gallery-with-no-image","15":"ast-product-tabs-layout-horizontal","17":"first","18":"instock","19":"taxable","20":"shipping-taxable","21":"product-type-simple
["GET
