The grapes for The Peake are hand-harvested from old vines that benefit from the chalky soils and temperate climate of McLaren Vale. This unique terroir contributes to the concentration, complexity and balance that characterise this wine.

In the glass, the wine shows a deep, opaque ruby colour. The bouquet is lush and layered, with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, dark chocolate and a hint of spices such as clove and pepper.
